Meet Freddy! Freddy is an absolute angel. He is so incredibly sweet and calm. He is great with dogs and kids of all sizes. He is 100% a go-with-the-flow kind of dude. If you feel like bed rotting and doom scrolling all day, he's happy to curl up next to you and keep you company. If you get a random urge to go on a hike, he's already at the door and ready to go. He LOVES the car and will jump in all by himself. He's a great shotgun rider!

Unfortunately, Freddy was adopted and then returned to the shelter for chasing chickens and killing a bunny. Since being in foster care, he has continued to show a high prey drive towards anything small and furry so he is NOT recommended for a home with small animals such as cats, rodents, poultry, etc... 

His prey drive is his only con. He is perfect in every other way. A gentleman in the home and on the leash. A gentleman in the car. A gentleman with children of all ages. A gentleman in the bath. He is a phenomenal option for any family without small animals (or ride-on toys lol).

Dewey

Dewey is a 1 year old Husky with a heart full of love and a strong belief that personal space is completely overrated. His favorite place is wherever his humans are, whether that's relaxing on the couch, following you around the house, or snoozing at your feet while you work.

Dewey is heartworm positive but don’t let that stop you from adopting this sweet boy! NCQ fully covers his treatment injections (the expensive part) while the adopter just pays for the take home meds. It’s a heck of a deal! 

Like any good Husky, Dewey has a few quirks. Toys? Meh. Treats? Also meh. We aren't entirely convinced he's read the Husky handbook. He's currently working on learning that crates aren't the end of the world, but he would much rather spend his time hanging out with his people.

Dewey walks nicely on a leash and is potty trained, though he does expect prompt service when nature calls. When Dewey says it's time to go outside, he means right now. His ideal home is one that appreciates a loyal shadow, a gentle companion, and a handsome Husky who just wants to be part of everything you're doing. 

Dewey is only available for a short time. Heartworm treatment injections can be hard on a dog's body so once he gets his first injection, he will go back to the unavailable list until his injections are completed in a few months. This is to ensure his heart stays calm for the duration of his treatment as changing homes can cause excitement and/or anxiety. However, if he gets adopted before his first injection, he can go home same day and complete his treatment with his fur-ever family.

If you’re looking for an easygoing best friend, Bingo might be your guy. This 6 month old terrier mix has a calm, laid back personality that makes him a joy to be around. He’s happy to go with the flow and take whatever the day brings.

Bingo is potty trained and does a great job letting you know when it’s time to head outside. He’s incredibly observant and always keeps an eye on what’s going on around him. One look into his stunning whitish blue eyes and you’ll see he’s paying attention to every little detail, especially any changes to his routine!

More than anything, Bingo loves his people. He enjoys being close to his humans and would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a loyal friend to share life with. Sweet, attentive, and easy to love, Bingo is ready to find a family of his very own.

Charlie is an incredibly kind and handsome senior coonhound mix. He’s dog and kid friendly (not cat tested). Sweet Charlie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and won’t be available until his treatment is done in August…but we can still admire his cuteness  

Sonora, Solene, & Sawyer

Mom & Two Puppies

Sonora (mama) is the sweetest, happiest girl! Her two nuggets Solene (brown spotted female) and Sawyer (black spotted male) are the chonkiest little babies.

This little family was pulled from a shelter just in time. Pneumonia and parvo was running rampant and it was just a matter of time before it spread to these precious pups. Being so little and susceptible to illness, pneumonia and/or parvo would have been a death sentence. Puppies don't last long in shelters for this very reason so we are thankful we had the resources to get them out.
