Chocolate is the definition of strong, independent woman! This pittie/doberman mix is lively and confident but SUCH a cuddle bug when she’s ready to wind down from her big adventures.

She is great with other dogs, cats, AND kids (if your kids don’t mind the energy lol!). She is so incredibly smart which will make training a breeze.

If you’ve seen Chocolate at one of our adoption events, you know she’s a talker! She wants to meet anyone and everyone. At home, she is amazing in her kennel: quiet and will let you know when she has to potty (she does not like pottying in her kennel which is a huge plus!).

Chocolate will be SUCH an amazing family dog and adventure partner. She has the energy to keep up on walks/runs/hikes but she also has the demeanor to be perfectly content in the house with her people.

Blossom wasn’t supposed to make it this far.

She and her siblings were left outside in a pen, shivering in the freezing cold with no warmth, no comfort, and no one coming for them. By the time we got to her, she needed a blood transfusion, she was full of worms, and fighting an upper respiratory infection. Her tiny body had every reason to give up.

But Blossom didn’t.

With care, warmth, and a whole lot of love, she slowly started to heal. Her eyes got brighter. Her tail started wagging. The scared little puppy we met has turned into a happy, playful girl who is finally ready to start the life she always deserved.

Now Blossom is healthy, thriving, and ready for a forever family of her own. She can go home on 2/19, and we are so ready to watch her story end the way it should have started — safe, loved, and home.

Angel is a 5 month old pittie mix with the prettiest little spots and the sweetest soul. She holds a special place in our hearts because she was NCQ’s very first intake. When she came to us she was tiny, sickly, and fighting to feel better. She needed medications, constant care, and people who refused to give up on her. Watching her grow from that fragile little puppy into the happy, healthy girl she is today has been incredible.

Angel is incredibly smart and eager to please. She tends to bond closely with the girl of the house and will happily become your little shadow, but she is still loving and gentle with men and children too.

She is dog, cat, and kid friendly and enjoys learning from her foster siblings. Angel was recently returned for potty training struggles, but she is already catching on quickly in her foster home.

This sweet girl has come so far in her short life. Now all she needs is a family who will love her forever. 

Mrs. Buttersworth

Meet Mrs. Buttersworth. Friends just call her Butters.

Butters is the perfect mix of chaos and cuddles. She has the energy of someone who drank three cups of coffee and the heart of someone who just wants to love everyone in the room. Dogs. Cats. Kids. If it has a heartbeat, Butters assumes it is her new best friend.

When you first meet her she might act a little awkward. Think of that moment when you walk into a room and forget what to do with your hands. That is Butters. Give her a few days and suddenly she remembers she is actually the life of the party.

Once she settles in, prepare for full time affection. Expect zoomies, wiggles, and a dog who believes personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule. If you are looking for a high energy love bug who will make you laugh daily, Mrs. Buttersworth is ready to pour herself into your life

Meet the Marksman Litter!

This adorable group of bully babies were found wandering with no mama. They are riddled with skin issues from prolonged exposure to North Carolina’s cold and wet environment but they are on the mend and looking better each day!

These babies will be available for reservations on 3/21 and available to go home on 4/2.
